Today we worked on Ragini's Science centers. We worked on essential questions, outcomes, assessments and incorporated Smartboard technology.

Today we made a plan and solidified Kevin's Rocket unit. . We worked on his essential questions, his outcomes and assessments. Next week we will start to work on Teddi's Watery Earth Unit.
Professional Development Round 1
We decided to meet together as a group and then work on our own in a lab or with lap tops. We will function as sounding -boards for each other. At the beginning of our meeting we will share what we are going to work on that day. At the end of each session we will check on each other’s progress and set goals for the next meeting.
Individual goals
Ragini- To improve her science center activities throughout the year. She intends to incorporate many features of the Smart board.
Teddi- To improve her Watery Earth Unit. She intends to add more content, reflective questions and relevant experiments.
Kevin- I intend to take the various units that I have on rockets and flight and distil it into a safe and workable curriculum. The set of directions should be simple. Ideally they should connect the laws and principles that they have been taught prior to building their rockets. Successfully identifying the connection between their project and laws and principles is proof that
