Meg's Goals: Breathe life into the essay, making it more interactive and interesting for students.
Maria's Goals: Bring fresh, new activities with cultural aspects to the "Las enfermedades" unit to engage 8th graders as their cumulative project.
Andriana's Goals: Polynomials unit (at the end of 8th grade year) - incorporate manipulative and ensure authenticity for students while being engaging.
Group Goals: To help each other develop the unit in innovative ways so that students will "buy into" the presented information, fostering an enduring understanding of the topic.

Regarding professional development, individual success will be determined by group feedback. As a group, success will be determined in the same way.
