What do you hope to learn in this study group? Please try to make your goals specific, relevant and trackable. As your study group evolves, your goals might change as short-term goals lead to long-term goals. We will take time to refine goals about half-way through the year.
Learn to manipulate activities on smartboard
Create our own Smart activitites
Insert/Use math tools into pre-made lessons
Adjusting Smart settings to meet objectives of lesson (compatability with other programs)
These are great goals. I especially like that you're planning to design activities using the Smart notebook software in addition to just using the board itself.
What resources can you identify to help you reach these goals? Human resources are an option but not the only option.

Great! I've started pulling together some general SMART resources. There are two pages right now (with more to come) underneath Tech Integration on the navigation bar to the left. The first one is more about how to use the board, and the second one has places to go for lesson ideas. Good luck!
10/27 - We met for the first fifteen minutes and discussed our goal for the day - learn to manipulate activities on the smartboard. We separated into smaller groups: Barb and Kathy explored math and grammar pre-made activites. Barb found an activity using a clock for tomorrow's lesson. Matt turned on his "smart ink" and changed the settings. Sandy worked with Kristen (our human resource) to develop an interactive lesson involving graphing along with many other possible activities. Meg explored the interactive tools for math and found pre-made lessons.
